Our community utilizes eg3.com to track interesting and new items of interest by keyword. Most of these designers are beginning new designs, and are interested in learning about new technologies and how these technologies (or affiliated products or services) can improve their design.

After submission, all items are scored from one to five stars based on their interest level for a design audience. In addition, all items are coded for relevant keywords such as '8051,' 'FPGA,' or 'Bluetooth.' Items scoring three or higher go out both in our weekly e-clips emails as well as posting on the eg3.com portal.

Here is a quick list of interesting items -

  • White Papers - informational (non-marketing) explanations of electronics topics, pre-sale "educational" discussions of new technologies
  • Shareware, Freeware, or Software Demos - downloadable software that allows engineers to "try before buy."
  • Seminars or Webinars - training or quasi-educational events (online or real-world), in which designers can learn about technologies or standards relating to embedded design.
  • News Releases - new technology announcements, partnerships, controversial talks or presentations.
  • New Product Announcements - new products or major revisions to existing products.
  • Videos, Social Media - we are especially interested in educational content, like Youtube videos or Twitter feeds that actually are more than self-serving marketing speak.

To submit an item, simply email to info@eg3.com:
