TI MSP430 and Energy Harvesting for Embedded Systems

Adrian Valenzuela, product marketing engineer for the Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller family, talks with eg3.com about energy harvesting based on solar energy, vibrations, thermal differences and other innovative methods as well as RF, Zigbee, and other technologies.
The company has just announced an evaluation kit based on the MSP430 for energy harvesting, available at low cost, worldwide.
