Dave Richkas - Microchip PIC Microcontrollers PIC24H

Microchip PIC Microcontrollers Interview - PIC24H Starter Kit, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and Intelligent Sensor Processing

(broadcast: 8 September 2009):
Dave Richkas, Product Marketing Manager in Microchip's High Performance Microcontroller Division, speaks with eg3.com about Microchip Technology's PIC24H family of 16-bit MCUs. The family offers 40 MIPS performance, more memory and additional peripherals, when compared with Microchip's low-power PIC24F 16-bit MCU family. The PIC24H family adds up to 2 CAN communication modules, and a user-selectable 10/12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The company has just announced the MPLAB Starter Kit for PIC24H MCUs, which includes everything needed to develop and evaluate Human- Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and intelligent sensor processing for embedded designs, at the low cost of $59.98.
