Common Criteria EAL6+ Software Security - Embedded Systems & RTOS

David Kleidermacher, Chief Technology Officer at Green Hills Software, discusses embedded software security (EAL4 / EAL6 / Common Criteria), the meaning of security in the Internet age, as well as new technologies like virtualization.

About David Kleidermacher:
David Kleidermacher is Chief Technology Officer at Green Hills Software where he is responsible for technology strategy, platform planning, solutions design, and technical marketing.
Kleidermacher is a leading authority in systems software and security, including secure operating systems, virtualization technology, and the application of high robustness security engineering principles to solve computing infrastructure problems.
Prior to his current assignment, Kleidermacher was Vice President of Engineering; in this capacity, he had responsibility for the Green Hills Software's product development, deployment, and technical support.
Previously, Kleidermacher was a senior manager and software developer, contributing major innovations and product successes in the areas of software development environments, operating systems, and security solutions.
In the 1990s, Kleidermacher was one of the original developers of the INTEGRITY secure operating system, the first software product ever to achieve a Common Criteria EAL 6+ High Robustness security certification.
Kleidermacher earned his bachelor of science degree in computer science from Cornell University and is an active writer and speaker on technology subjects.
He has been with Green Hills Software since 1991.
