 Scout Operating System
Scout is a communication-oriented operating system targeted at network appliances (e.g., network-attached devices, set-top boxes, hand-held devices, and so on). Scout currently runs stand-alone on Digital Alpha and Intel Pentium processors.
It is hosted from Linux using GNU tools.
Scout includes source code derived from GNU libraries, Linux device drivers, Bellcore's MGR window manager, and the x-kernel.
