In this tutorial we present an overview of ATM and Gigabit Networks.
We begin with an overview of High Speed Netwroks and their applications.
Next we examine the details of the ATM protocols and formats.
We also look at the ATM-adaptation layers (AAL) and the manner in which ATM cells are actually packaged for transmission acroos the user-network interface.
