to submit an item in news release form - be sure that you have a headline, exact url, and one paragraph description.

suggesting a news release, vendor site, non-vendor resource, personal page, white paper, demo, etc., is easy. simply use our email form or email info@eg3.com . once submitted we will browse your site as soon as possible.

for the vendor community, use the email form or info@eg3.com email address for -

• news releases - company news releases;
• white papers - technical papers that your staff may have presented at recent conferences, i.e. anything that is of technical (not simply marketing) merit;
• shareware, freeware, or software demo's - perhaps you release some shareware or freeware or even worthy demo's for the community; or
• seminars - many vendors conduct on-going seminars - on or off the web - we are very interested in including these items.

as a community site, eg3.com produces a free interactive 'buyers guide,' updated twice a year. you can browse the guide at http://www.eg3.com/411 .

to update a current company listing, use the tearsheet form and instructions. to add a new company, email the following to info@eg3.com :

• company name ;
• brief description - a non-marketing, technical description of what you offer the community, less than 450 characters; and
• exact URL - your home page URL as in http://www.company.com/.

we update eg3.com weekly, and emphasize company listings ("buyers guides") every other six months - so please be patient!

priority queues - how we handle requests

we handle incoming requests based on our priority relationship with you:

1. advertisers - our paying advertisers, one-week queue on all items updated each monday.
2. partners - companies that link to eg3.com, three-week queue maximum on all items updated monthly. (for information on becoming a partner, click here ).
3. others - all other companies in our industry, three-six week queue maximum on all items updated monthly.

eg3.com is very committed to being an open resource covering the entire community, but please be patient as there are always many hundreds of update requests in the queue.
