NetBSD Documentation: NetBSD IPv6 Networking
IPv6 code was merged into NetBSD in June 1999. It is included in the NetBSD 1.5 official release and later. IPv6 configuration is mostly the same as IPv4 configuration, so you may want to check the documentation for IPv4 networking. The GENERIC kernel configuration enables IPv6 support by default for most of the architectures (ports).
