Linux Atmel AVR Tutorial
The Atmel AVR family is a set of powerful microcontrollers that were designed to be used with the C programming language.
You can now compile a C program for the AVRs with gcc, then load the program onto the chip using an inexpensive programmer and free tools.
For Linux users who want to work on digital electronics, robotics, and automation, these chips are the way to go. This page is a step-by-step tutorial that presents the simplest,...

MicroControllers and Electronics page
Welcome to my electronics page.
I can currently play with chips only at nights and weekends, but my goal is to be back with my favorite job in a year or two, so I have started to prepare for it. I started playing with PIC 16F84 microcontroller but got bored quickly.
The instruction set is disgusting, and although I enjoy working with small manageable things, 1684 is just a bit too limited for my taste.

Mike Robins - Atmel AVR Microcontrollers
At the present time, my current work has been focused on developing fast and reliable communications between the AVR and a host PC. I've wrapped this into my MFR AVR Libraries.
Many of the following projects depend on those libraries.

yaap - yet another AVR programmer
This is an emergency release of my AVR programmer.
Emergency, because many people have asked for it, and because I need to refer to it from the assembly instructions for yampp-3. The program works great, but it still lack some features like fuses and stuff.
On the other hand, it offers some unique features : Built in Serial Terminal Built in SPI Terminal some more, I guess.
So far, there's no help, so you're on your...
