ARM today announced the availability of a significantly expanded lineup of ARM® Processor Optimization Pack (POP) solutions for TSMC 40nm and 28nm process technologies targeting a range of ARM Cortex processors.

ARM announces Cortex-M0+ Freescale will have MCUs next month
ARM simplified and speeded up its low-end processor to produce the Cortex-M0+. 'Both the M0 and M0+ share the same instruction set. The aim with the M0+ is to be much more compatible with 8bit and 16bit processors,' ARM project manager Thomas Ensergueix told Electronics Weekly.
