Bristol Wearable Computing Project
The Bristol Wearable Computing Project is concerned with exploring the potential of computer devices that are as unconsciously portable and as personal as clothes or jewellery.

Wearable Computing+Intelligent Image Processing
We are witnessing a merging of communications devices (such as portable telephones) with computational devices (personal organizers, personal computers, etc.). Although these devices embody a loose and fluffy notion of mobile multimedia or the like, the specific and fundamental change to visual interfaces that will have greatest relevence in the next millenium is the notion of a computationally mediated reality.

What's a Wearable?
To date, personal computers have not lived up to their name.
Most machines sit on the desk and interact with their owners for only a small fraction of the day. Smaller and faster notebook computers have made mobility less of an issue, but the same staid user paradigm persists.
