Circuit simulation using gEDA and SPICE -- HOWTO
Linux will become an increasingly popular engineering platform in the future. Professional-quality CAD applications for circuit design are becoming available from programmers within the free-software community. For electronics, the gEDA suite is the preferred tool set for circuit design. Analog circuit simulation using SPICE is also now available on Linux. This HOWTO describes the design flow employed to perform SPICE simulations using gEDA...

Introduction to SPICE
This tutorial gives a brief overview of SPICE to microelectronic students. Most of the examples and exercises are directed to the microelectronic applications. The description is far from complete, as SPICE is a powerful circuit simulator with many capabilities. However, it will serve as a start for students in other disciplines. For more information, please refer to the SPICE user's manual or books listed at the end of this tutorial.

Lessons In Electric Circuits
This introduction comes from the operating manual for a circuit simulation program called Electronics Workbench. Using a graphic interface, it allows the user to draw a circuit schematic and then have the computer analyze that circuit, displaying the results in graphic form. It is a very valuable analysis tool, but it has its shortcomings. For one, it and other graphic programs like it tend to be unreliable when analyzing complex circuits,...

The SPICE circuit simulator and models
SPICE is an acronym for Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis and was inspired by the need to accurately model devices used in integrated circuit design. It has now become the standard computer program for electrical and electronic simulation. The majority of commercial packages are based on SPICE2 version G6 from the University of California at Berkeley although development has now progressed to SPICE3.
