8051 Search Tips
Obviously, no Guide or 8051 Tutorial can ever really keep up-to-date with the information on the Web. Why try? Some might say that
Google
has all that you need.
But while it is true that Google does pretty much index everything about everything, it has its own limitations - notoriously the search words used, and in this section, we make some recommendations about searching for 8051-related information on the Internet.
We have some links to common - 8051-related searches and some pointers about how they might be improved.
But before that, here are some links to some other ways to search the Web for 8051-related information - resources that you may not have thought about.
Of course your best place to start is
eg3.com
- just use our search engine at the top of the page, or select "vendors," "conferences," or "services" to search our database.
Other publications include:
-
EDN
. EDN is one of the premier print magazines discussing electronics, and they have a nifty search engine called Zibb.
You can go to their website and enter "8051" to find recent articles.
We've bookmarked the 8051 search,
here
.
-
EE Times
also has a great search engine, so you can use it so search back issues for relevant 8051 articles,
here
.
-
Embedded.com
,
TechOnline.com
, and
TechSearch
are all part of the CMP network and again places you can find articles about the architecture.
-
Circuit Cellar
has more of a hobbyist flavor, but you can also search it for "8051",
here
.
-
Electronic Design
- similarly, you can search their magazine archives for 8051.
-
EE Catalog
(Extension Media) published a catalog of 8051 products,

NetX® and NetX Duo are Express Logic's high-performance implementation of IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP protocol standards.
Both are fully integrated with the ThreadX® RTOS (real-time operating system) and are available for all supported processors.
NetX and NetX Duo have a unique Piconet architecture.
Combined with a zero-copy API, it makes them a perfect fit for today's deeply embedded applications that require network connectivity.
